Then we will return to the Salar towards its center, the Incahuasi Island, tourist attention center that has an ascension path to its summit that turns into an extraordinary 360 degree viewpoint and that surprises by the amount of giant cactus (Echinopsis atacamensis) that populate the Island, which is also a manifest sample of the petrified volcanic lava-like rock on top of the rocks and that its origin is the "Blue Alga" or Fossil Stromatolites, one of the oldest life testimonies of the earth. The underwater bacteria that formed them have developed in the times of Lake Michín (40 thousand years ago) and Lake Tauka (11 thousand years ago) that kept the whole island under water.

We will continue our journey to the Colchin Salt Mounds, after brief stops at the Hotel de Sal Museum and a water hole. They will be the last stops in the Salar, for the final photographs with the sunset where we will taste national cocoteles and exotic drinks for this event.
