Manatee Watch

Manatees spend much of their time feeding on water plants and resting on the shallow bottom or on the surface of the water. About 28 miles South of Ambergris Caye is the Swallow Caye Reserve dedicated to the manatee. You can see from the boat this endangered animal in their natural environment. After visiting the manatee reserve you are taken to one of our beautiful cayes to snorkel and swim while the guide prepares an amazing BBQ lunch on the beach. On the way back to San Pedro enjoy a cold beverage and a boat ride to the quaint island of Caye Caulker for a walk about on the small island where you can see some of Belize’s amazing culture.
