Izalco Volcano Hike and Lago Coatepeque

We Pickup in San Salvador, El Tunco and nearby locations. Our pickup time is around 7am. Volcan Izalco is 2 hours away from San Salvador. We provide no food or drinks so please feel free to bring a sandwich or fruit. We always stop at a gas station for bathrooms and to buy snacks and water there. 2 liters are enough for one person. The hike is considered as hard, steep and extreme. The hike has a duration of around 6-7 hours depending on pace. The temeperature at the summit is sometimes very cold so please bring a jacket. Also bring a lot of sunblock. After the hike we drive for 45 minutes to the Lake, where you can swim, eat something there or enjoy a cold beer with an amazing view of the Volcano.
