About this activity
We know how important is to interact with locals to understand better this gentle culture and this is our aim, that you feel the real thing, meeting locals in their habitat, and being members of the most emblematic Gastronomic Clubs in the city, we can grant you access to this "invitation-only" institution, to taste the food we purchased previously in the market
We will walk to one of the Central Market of San Sebastian where we´ll meet local farmers and producers and will buy a variety of seasonal products directly from them.Food Tasting in a PRIVATE GASTRONOMIC CLUB
Once we arrive to a our private Gastronomic Club, we will grab a glass of wine and start to prepare the delicacies we purchased in the market. Some will need to be cooked, some others will be ready to be tasted!
Assorted Hot & cold tapas style plates with the products purchased in the market accompanied with fine Rioja and Txakoli wines.
Our tours are private, so we could add / remove / change anything on them to meet your preferences

This was a great experience! Jon was a terrific host as he took us around the San Sebastian market showing us the freshest ingredients and the best producers in this gastronomic centre of the world. He is very accommodating and open to anything you would like to cook. Then we went to his private Gastronomic Club in the heart of the Old Town amongst some of the best Pintxos bars in the world. We learned about Basque culture, cooked alongside the locals, and ate traditional Basque cuisine...could not get more of a local feeling! Highly recommend this experience and no doubt one of the highlights of our culinary tour of Spain!
