About this activity
08:30 We depart San Sebastian to drive south to La Rioja
10:30 We'll arrive at the first winery for a tour of their production area, their cellars, and a tasting of their wines.
12:30 Visit to a second winery for a tour and tasting, or perhaps we'll have stop at a couple of wine bars, if you're more interested in tasting than in touring.
13:30 Traditional Riojan lunch, which is typically grilled lamb, peppers, and wine (of course!)
15:30 Optional cultural visit to the historic village of Laguardia, photo opportunities at the gorgeous Marqués de Riscal and Ysios wineries.
16:30 Say farewell to La Rioja and head north back to San Sebastian.
18:30 Arrival to San Sebastian.
