San Sebastián and Getaria with visit to Txakoli bodega and lunch at traditional restaurant

Experience the wild Basque coast while tasting some of its most famous and locally cultivated products. We make our way through the spectacular landscape along the coast before arriving in the local fishing village of Getaria.

Here we visit one of the most beautiful Txakoli vineyards in the area for a private tour. This typical Basque white wine gets its unique taste from the grapes growing on hillsides facing the Cantabrian Sea and we are invited for a stroll around the Bodega before going into the tasting room to enjoy some of the best Txakoli of the region and taste some of the typical Basque products such as Idiazabal cheese and Bonito del norte.

We continue our tour with lunch at a traditional restaurant that serves excellent local food down in the tiny centre of the mediaeval fishing village of Getaria before returning to San Sebastián where we make a stop at the Igueldo Mountain with wonderful views overlooking the town and learn a little about the history on a stroll trough the old town.
