Anaga hiking to the Antequera bay

At 8 in the morning we start to pick up our guest at the different Hotels and Meeting points in and around Puerto de la Cruz. From then we travel with our bus in direction Tenerife East. We pass St. Ursula with its great view along the northern coast, we pass Tacoronte, the Strelitzia fields of Valle Guerra and have a stop in Tequeste for preparing the last needs of going into the wild.
We drive up into pParque Rural Anaga all the way to the east of the region, watching down both sides into the Atlantic and park within the fairytale laurel forest.
From here we start our hike . We walk east, down through succulent and subtropical vegetation. Sometimes we encounter local herds of goats chewing in the bushes along the way. Their bleating is heard from afar. We descend to the old pirate bay Antequera. On his lonely beach, we relax at picnic and jump into the Atlantic Ocean for a refreshing swim.
Later we take a boat and sail along the south-east coast to San Andres with its white beach Las Teresitas. From the harbour we return with our bus back to Puerto de la Cruz and arrive in the late afternoon.
