In the south of Tenerife, the excursion starts towards Arona skirt, the oldest massif of Tenerife, formed by two volcanoes that completely eroded. Observe the terraces that, up to 50 years ago, were all cultivated and you still see the remains of old houses.

After a series of curves, already exceeding the 1,000 meters mark, on the right side of the road, see the volcanoes of the south like Guaza

Arrive near La Escalona "strictly agricultural area" to see various crops of potatoes and then large extensions of vineyards.

Head to the highest village in Spain "Vilaflor de Chasna" where to make the first two stops and try a Barraquito and then visit "Pino Gordo" the biggest pines.

There's time to take photographs and visit the Natural Park of Corona Forestal.

At 2100 meters of altitude in the Retamar viewpoint, enter the Teide National Park which, since 2007 is UNESCO World Heritage. From this viewpoint, on the most beautiful days, you can see all the western islands: La Gomera El Hierro and La Palma.

Inside the National Park, find yourselves in a wonderful spectacle with colors that resemble the Grand Canyon area and endemic flora that you will not see anywhere else in the world! After a short break, discover Las Minas de San José, to observe the various lava flows with landscapes that are identical to Mars, Venus or the Moon.

While heading back, stop at a viewpoint to admire a spectacular sunset. If the clouds are too high and it is impossible to see the sunset, visit a volcanic tube near the Boca Cangrejo volcano and then, return to the hotel.
