Tenerife Helicopter Tour Including Mt Teide, Los Gigantes Cliffs and La Orotava

Start your experience with a pickup from your hotel in the Cristianos to Callao Salvaje area of south Tenerife, or hotel in Los Gigantes. If you’re based anywhere else on the island, make your own way to the heliport near Costa Adeje in time for your selected flight departure slot.
On arrival at the heliport, meet your expert pilot and get a safety briefing on the round-trip flight ahead. Then, hop inside your shared 4-passenger helicopter for your 50-minute trip.
Put on your seat belt and 2-way radio headset so you can hear your pilot’s commentary. The pilot will point out the major sights, and recount fascinating facts about Tenerife’s geology and natural history as you fly.
Thrill as your helicopter whirrs upwards and spend the next 50 minutes or so flying over the island’s awesome mountains, ravines, forests and sea cliffs.
Cruise to Teide National Park, the UNESCO-listed reserve dominated by Mt Teide, Spain’s highest peak. Soar over the summit and surrounding plains, and float over the pine woods of Corona Forestal Natural Park that fringe the Teide reserve.
Gaze down at the wine-growing La Orotava region and mountains of Vilaflor, and snap photos of Santiago del Teide, where lava from a 1909 volcanic eruption has solidified along the valley.
Enjoy aerial views of the towering Los Gigantes cliffs on Tenerife’s west coast. See the white Atlantic breakers crashing onto the cliffs — the tallest in Europe — and whirr over the black sand beaches along the coast.
After almost an hour in the air, arrive back at the heliport and celebrate your flight with a complimentary drink, specially laid on for you.
Your experience then ends with a drop-off at your hotel in the Cristianos to Callao Salvaje area of south Tenerife, or your Los Gigantes hotel. If you’re based elsewhere, your experience concludes at the heliport.
