About this activity

Your scuba diving experience starts with the pickup and transfer from your hotel or address on the island. After transfer to the dive site you'll get to know some of the basic things relating to scuba diving, including:
• How to breathe on your scuba regulator, slowly and deeply
• Learn how to equalize your ears
• Learn the basic hand signals in order to communicate underwater
You will get to learn and try the basic scuba diving equipment prior to walk to the beach where you will kit up and start your first underwater adventure.
You will be accompanied by experienced scuba diving instructor who will introduce you to the wonders of the sea for minimum 20 minutes or more. The scuba tank holds limited amount of air and the duration underwater is determined by your breathing rate. Scuba Diving experience starts in very shallow and confined and calm water to get you comfortable before advancing deeper, in your own pace.
After the dive you will have a debriefing with your instructor about your experience while enjoying snacks and beverages.

Take into consideration
You need to have basic swim skills and be comfortable in the water to participate in the program.
No flying or visiting high altitude locations (for example mount Teide) within 18 hours of completing the program.
Please remember
Drink lots of water – it is important to stay hydrated when diving.
Bring warm clothes – it can sometimes get chilly after a dive, even in our warm climate.
Sunglasses and sunblock.
Swimwear and towel.
If you are on continuous medication, please consult your doctor to get approval for scuba diving.
