Imagine being able to glide past the seals on a big stable paddle board.
The Adult Beginner Paddler SUP Lesson is designed for those that have never paddled before, but want the independence to get up and paddling! The lesson is essential for all first time to SUP, or someone that has maybe once paddled on a lake! Must be 18 years or older to take this lesson, or go to our Family Fun Guided SUP Lesson for under 18 year olds.
Intro to SUP lesson for the independent water savvy first-time paddler that is able to learn quickly and get up paddling in 10 minutes. Taking themselves off for a self-guided tour around the harbor. First we teach what a paddleboard is, then we show you the skills needed for moving your paddleboard forward, steering and turning it to the left and right, and essentially how to stop your board on the water. Once these skills are mastered we coach you as you embark on your first self guided tour around the Santa Cruz Harbor.
