Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Casa Museo Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Carrera 5 6 35, Aracataca 472001 Colombia

This museum was built over the original house where Gabo grew up. Since the original house burned down, the museum managed to found every single piece of furniture Gabo used to have in his house back in the day. The pieces of furniture came mostly from antique shops in Bogotá. The museum overwhelmingly recreates the place where Gabo spent his childhood, recreates the place where the "Magical Realism" was born.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Casa del Telegrafista, centro de Aracataca, Aracataca Colombia

Here, in this recently renovated shop-museum, you will be able to do two different things: First, you will discover the place where Gabo's father used to work and send his love letters to Gabo's mother; this forbidden love served as an inspiration for "Love in the Time of Cholera". It also inspired the place where colonel Buendia expected to receive those letters that never arrived.

Second: You can buy Gabo's books, and objects related to him and his work.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Av. del Libertador, sin numero Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Santa Marta Colombia

In this museum, you will know first hand the history of Simon Bolivar. Our airport, parks, neighborhoods, and streets are named after him. The reason everything has his name is that Santa Marta was the death place of this once powerful man, who managed to liberate six countries from the Spanish kingdom. Here, you will know more about his life and feats. Finally, if you have a little bit of imagination, you would probably travel 200 years ago.

Duration: 1 hour
