Rodadero Aquarium and Playa Blanca Day Trip from Santa Marta

Your day trip from Santa Marta starts with a drive to the marina, where you’ll board a motorboat for the ride through Gaira Bay to the Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum (Acuario y Museo del Mar del Rodadero).
Part of the National Network of Museums of Colombia, this coastal aquarium features several exhibits and 13 pools that connect directly to the Caribbean, allowing you varying views of several species of marine life, from sea turtles to sea lions to sharks. Watch an educational and entertaining dolphin show, and learn about the marine environment just off the shores of Colombia.
Then, head to Playa Blanca by boat for a little relaxation in the sun. Spread out your beach towel on the soft sand, and go for a dip in the turquoise sea. If you get hungry or thirsty, there is a thatch-roofed cafe and bar on the beach (own expense).
After a couple of hours here, you’ll be taken back to your hotel in Santa Marta.
