El Soplao cave tickets and guided excursion from Santander

You will leave from Santander towards the mountains of Rionansa. You will go across valleys, forests, and mountains to reach this amazing cave that was discovered at the time when it was used as mining factory. El Soplao cave is considered one of the great wonders of geology, treasuring an authentic paradise of speleothems (eccentric, stalactites, stalagmites, washes, columns, cave pearls, dog teeth, etc.). There are two ways to make this visit. In this proposal, we have considered the classic visit, which consists of doing a walking guided circuit of one hour through different galleries to which we will access with a small train. This is a very easy and accessible route for everyone. Alternatively, we propose to make an "adventure" visit to the cave. This would be an experience for the most intrepid persons (it would be 2.5 hours in the cave equipped with hull, diver and water boots). After the visit you will go back to Santander (1-hour driving), however in the way back, you will do a short stop to enjoy the beautiful views of the viewpoint of Tina Menor.
