PROGRAM: Full day excursion to A Coruña and Betanzos.
Departure from Santiago center and start the tour arriving to Coruña going by gardens of Méndez Nuñez, and the Marina with its famous houses glass houses.
Next We visited some of the most emblematic points of the Torre de Hércules area with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the oldest lighthouse of Roman origin in the world and now a World Heritage Site.
We continue through Orzán and Riazor, photo-stop at Obelisco Milenium.
We go to “Monte San Pedro”, free time at Monte San Pedro for photos (general view of the city).
We advance in the tour direction to the historic center seeing the modernist buildings of the city.
Arrival at the Marina and free time in the central Plaza de María Pita, discovering the monuments and cobblestone streets that surround the historic center.
Free lunch.
Departure to Betanzos, and visit one of the best preserved historical centers of Galicia, declared a Historic-Artistic Site. Some consider it the capital of Galician Gothic.
Return to Santiago at 18.30h.
