Excellent tour. There were four of us on the tour. One individual did not speak English and the tour guide took the time to explain what we were seeing also in Spanish. The switchbacks to get the ski resort were impressive, 29 of them. Had lunch at the ski resort. Also visited a small winery and climbed a rocky hillside to view very old Inca etching in stones. Highly recommend.

A long but fascinating day trip to a vineyard where tasting was available but no pressured selling afterwards followed by a drive up high into the Andes to the Inca lagoon where although out of ski-ing season the hotel was open for meals and a drink. Although originally booked for Good Friday the tour was altered to Thursday all very professionally and the tour driver Gabrial was very informative and interesting

We were fortunate enough to have Gabriel-the owner and guide-on this tour. He is such fun, full of knowledge and obviously enjoys the job!! We had only 4 of us on this wonderful scenic spectacular, so it seemed like a private tour , but Daniel assured us that whether it be 4 or 14 people he ensures that his clients always feel that the are special. Daniel and his team are a credit to the tourism industry with their tour selection/times/venues being fantastic

What an amazing place! The weather was perfect so we were able to admire the beautiful landscape. Our tour guide, Julio, picked us up on time and drove straight into the mountain. He was very friendly, very knowleadgeable and his english was very good, so we spent most of our journey talking about Chiles history, culture, traditions, etc. As the original tour included a visit to a winery that resulted to be closed due to a national holiday, he took us further towards the Chilean and Argentinean border. We didnt forsee it and was great to have the chance to take some pictures on the site. Unexpected but a lovely stop on the way! He returned driving to the Inca Lagoon which was absolutely fascinating, thanks to the calm turquoise water surrounded by mountains which were still snow capped. He gave us time alone to walk around the place and take some pictures. Also on the way he recommended some places for lunch but we decided to eat in the restaurant of the Portillo ski centre hotel, that had a panoramic view of the Lagoon. After a couple of hours enjoying the scenery, we started our return to Santiago. He stopped at every opportunity in order for him to take some lovely pictures of us with the waterfalls, river sights, the descending road on the mountains, etc. He asked us where we wanted to be dropped of in the city and he drove us there. Due to the closure of the San Esteban winery on that day, when we arrived to our hotel we found 2 bottles of wine that Gabriel from Istó e Chile left for us. We were pleasantly surprised with their gesture! The journey with Julio was very enjoyable, as much as our previous tour with Gabriel, both from the Istó e Chile tour agency. They focus on complimenting tourist expectations in a very proffessional and charismatic manner. We highly recommend this tour and this company!

Superior tour. Our driver/guide spoke flawless English. Very well informed. The winery served us 5 wines - good enough to find/buy back home. The Inca Lagoon is the bluest blue I've ever seen. Reaching it is interesting - 30 switchbacks on a highway with no guardrails or even shoulders! Very good lunch at the ski lodge at the lagoon. Definitely recommend it!

The wine tasting and tour with Angelina at San Esteban Vineyard was fantastic! The Inca Lagoon is beautiful but the food at the restaurant there was over-priced and really not good. I couldn't even eat my steak. We mentioned to our driver that we wanted to go see the petroglyphs at the park near San Esteban. He completely ignored our request and when we were finished with lunch, we asked again if we could go there. He then told us it was too late because we had to get the tickets at San Esteban and the vineyard was already closed to guests. We asked him why he didn't mention that to us when we expressed interest in going to see the site and he didn't say anything. Needless to say, we were very unhappy and disappointed.

This was a perfect full day trip to see a combination of wine tour, and scenic vistas. Gavriel did a fantastic job taking us to Vina San Esteban (great tour with Angie) and then driving us to Inca Lagoon and lunch at the Portillo Ski Lodge. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommend this tour.

It is a long drive but the views are incredible, areas for walking and photography at Inca Lagoon and the restaurant there had lovely food and service. We enjoyed stop at San Estevan winery which had best tour of wine making process during our trip and we loved the white blend of chardonnay/voignier but thought that wine tasting could have been more extensive.
