This highly popular activity is not for the faint of heart. After a two-hour drive from Santiago into the middle of the Cajon del Maipo Valley, we will arrive at Cascada de Las Animas in the small town of San Alfonso on the banks of the Maipo River. Cascada de Las Animas has more than 25 years of experience in ecotourism with more than 8,000 acres of mountain ranges, valleys, springs and waterfalls. Canopy consists of soaring from treetop to treetop while being securely buckled to a steel cable. Every treetop carries its own platform, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular forest views while your safety guide prepares you for your next flight. Safety comes first and the outdoor experts at Cascada de Las Animas will make absolutely sure that you will be able to enjoy this exhilarating activity in a carefree and safe manner. The Zip Line is a 558-foot cable crossing the Maipo River, one of the longest in Chile. The Zips can reach up to 30 miles per hour. An exciting experience where vertigo and adrenaline are combined with the indescribable pleasure of appreciating splendid scenery and enjoying the wind hitting your face. After Zip Lining and Canopying, we will have lunch at a quaint restaurant in the Andean village of San Jose de Maipo followed by a visit to the Concha y Toro Wine Vineyard in the picturesque town of Pirque for a tour and wine tasting.
