Cigars and Rum Tour from Santo Domingo

Rum and Tobacco Leaf Cigars with icons of the gastronomic culture of the Caribbean and in the Dominican Republic is no exception. We have prepared a day where we will live three experiences around these endemic products.

First of its kind in the country and designed for visitors to learn more about the ancient and modern processes used to create excellent rum, you will witness the processes of Ron Barceló distillation, which are carried out daily: aging, processing and packaging.

 

Next stop, it will be time for our lunch. For this, we have reserved a table for you at “La Marina of Casa de Campo”, one of the most impressive settings where we can enjoy a lunch in an atmosphere of Mediterranean architecture. An excellent place to smoke a great Dominican cigar accompanied with a drink of fine Dominican rum.

 

By the end of our visit, our visit to the Vega Fina cigar factory. You will follow the path of tobacco leaves from the fields to the packaging of handmade cigars. We will enter the tobacco preparation areas of the shop and see a master cigar working his craft, preparing the full cigars, sort the leaves and continue to our mixing room. Next we’ll enter the manufacturing plant where we can see firsthand the process of manufacturing cigars: the collection, processing, aging of cigars and packaging. After this part of the tour, we will begin the transfer to our points of origin.
