TRIP ITINERARY

8:00 AM-9:00 PM

Enjoy this ten hour adventure in a luxury vehicle with a private, bilingual, certified tour guide, with whom you will travel in all comfort through the history of this 500+ year old city.

Pickup 8 AM

You will be picked up from your hotel/ location area in Punta Cana and be driven to the Colonial Zone.

Private Tour

You will visit the Columbus Palace. Completed in 1514, it was the home of Christopher Columbus’ son, Diego. From the palace, the group will walk through the historic Plaza de España and onto Calle Las Damas, the first paved street of the New World. The ultimate destination is one of the most important sites in the Dominican Republic: the first cathedral of the New World, Cathedral de Santa Maria La Menor. With the tour to Santo Domingo, you’ll experience the city’s rich history and the daily life of everyday Dominicans in their capital of 3 million inhabitants.

Tour Continued

You will visit Pantheon, the Ruins, Museums, and all religious patriotic monuments. (Lunch is not included, but we have to tell you the restaurants around the Columbus house are excellent) Or be transported to our favorite restaurant in all of Santo Domingo, with authentic Italian food you will love. Then you will head on over to the Cacao Factory for a chocolate tasting and experience everything chocolate there is to offer.

End your day with some shopping in Santo Domingo in one of three malls ( if you want).

Return Trip

After ending your evening our drivers will be waiting to take you and your group back to your hotel/location.
