Pickup and drop off at the hotel. Well planned excursion. An interesting hike climbing the volcano caldera, with a tour guide detailing everything. Worth it for the views at the top. Also enough time to explore as well. An exciting swim at the hot springs, watch your white parts on the swim wear, will go yellow from the sulphur. We visited Thirassia, and were given various options for the island stop over. Lunch, swim or climb up to the main town. We opted for lunch followed by a swim. Wish the time was longer! We carried on via boat to Oia, and got dropped off. The bus took us back to our hotel. Only downside was the slight disorganisation at the start as every queued in one area waiting for their tickets, and we were kept in the dark. We got moved from one line for a boat to another. Otherwise good time!
We were hearded like cattle onto and off of the ships without much direction for English speaking tourists after the volcano stop. Otherwise, for the price, the views were beautiful from the volcano but time there wasn’t long enough once you got through the crowds to enjoy the volcano. The swim stops were nice but so crowded.
