Pass By: Castelli of Pyrgos, Pyrgos 84701 Greece

Enjoy a unique walking tour with a bold traditional character. Our starting point is the village of Pyrgos. Built in the middle of the island on a hill, Pyrgos is the highest settlement on Santorini. We will start our day with a Greek coffee and amazing views. Follow the cobblestone footpath we come out at the square of Pyrgos were we will stop for a traditional Bruschetta. We then continue our adventure to Megalochori, passing through the countryside with some of the famous Santorinian vineyards, which create the globally awarded Assyrtiko white. In Megalochori, we will view the rare white domed churches, cave houses (canaves) and the most beautiful, central village square of the island, where the locals will welcome us with their “filoxenia” (hospitality) for a traditional oven baked meal. Our next stop will be at Gavalas Winery, one of the oldest Wineries on the island with over 200 year of heritage to taste 4 different local Wines. Our last stop is a unique place (be surprised) for our Sweet end with traditional sweet spoon and submarine Vanilla. Join learn and enjoy
