10-hour Private Tour to Lake Toya and Noboribetsu from Sapporo

Begin your day with a Sapporo hotel pick-up at 8:00 a.m. From there, you will head to Lake Toya’s Silo Observatory, which offers an amazing view of the lake, the Nakajima islands and the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Usu and Mt. Showashinzan.

After 30 minutes, you will head to the next destination, Noboribetsu Bear Park. Brown bears are among the largest species of animals in the region, and at the Bear Park you can observe and give treats to some of the bears raised there, and also learn more about their habits and origin at the park’s museum. You will have about an hour to stroll at the park.

Later, visit another famous location in Noboribetsu, Jigokudani – the Hell Valley. This valley is located above the region’s hot springs, and it’s the main source of their water. The volcanic caldera was created by an eruption thousands of years ago, and you have 30 minutes to roam the 8-kilometer network of roads and discover powerful steam jets and streams of sulfurous water.

The final stop of this tour is Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima. Spend 100 minutes at the largest outlet mall in the Sapporo area to shop for a good quality souvenirs of famous brands at outlet prices.

After a full day, you will be driven back to your Sapporo hotel around 6:00 p.m.
