Kamikiri Papercutting Craft Experience in Sapporo

1. Arrive and meet your instructor at Kimono Kobo MAMEGURA, a kimono studio located 3 minutes walk from Nishisen 6-jo Station on the Sapporo City Tram, or 12 minutes walk from Nishi Juitchome Station on Sapporo Subway Tozai Line. (5 min)

2. Watch the instructor put his scissors to work and masterfully perform kamikiri. (10 min)

3. Impromptu kamikiri performance. Name any figure and marvel at the dexterity of the instructor who will magically cut out the suggested shape off the cuff. (10 min)

4. Now it’s time to try your hand at kamikiri. Cut out your favorite shapes while receiving tips from the instructor. (30 min)

5. You can continue with your kamikiri creation, or switch to a little origami experience where you can learn how to fold basic shapes such as a crane. (30 min)

6. Your experience comes to an end.
