Tsumami Zaiku Traditional Japanese Accessory Craft Workshop in Sapporo

1. Arrive and meet your instructor at Kimono Kobo MAMEGURA, a kimono studio located 3 minutes walk from Nishisen 6-jo Station on the Sapporo City Tram, or 12 minutes walk from Nishi Juitchome Station on Sapporo Subway Tozai Line.

2. Learn about tsumami zaiku from the instructor. (5 min)

3. Choose your favorite fabrics from a wide selection of colors and patterns. (10 min)

4. Follow the instructions of your instructor and carefully fold the fabrics with tweezers into the shape of flower petals, then glue them onto the base. Add embellishments and a strap, and voila! It’s your own tsumami zaiku accessory! (60 min)

5. Photo time! Take as many pictures of your lovely new creation as you like. (10 min)
