Pass By: Sebilj Brunnen (Fountain), Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton
Start your tour in front of the Sebilj fountain on the central square of Sarajevo Old Town. We will start the tour with a short presentation about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo and most interesting details about culture and cuisine.
Stop At: Bascarsija, Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton
Our first tasting of rakija will be in one of the taverns in Baščaršija. You will learn more about the rooth of this typical Bosnian alcoholic drink and you will taste 2 types of rakija.
Duration: 20 minutes
Pass By: Sarajevo City Hall, Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton
Passing the narrow streets of the old town, we will reach Sarajevo City Hall, One of the most beautiful buildings built in the 19th century by the Austro - Hungarian Empire. You will learn more about the infrastructure of the city and first coffee places in Sarajevo and habits of the locals.
Stop At: Gymnasium Obala
Our next rakija tasting is by the main river Miljacka. With 2 types of rakija (homemade brandy) you will taste meze (local cheeses and smoked meat) traditionally served with rakija.
Duration: 20 minutes
Pass By: Latin Bridge, Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton
After second rakija tasting, you will walk with our guide by the river to the Latin bridge. This bridge and the corner of the street is known to be a place of assassination of Franz Ferdinand, known to be an event that triggered First World War.
Stop At: Bascarsija, Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton
We are back in Old town of Sarajevo. You will visit monuments such as Tašlihan, Old clock tower, Gazi Husrev Bey's Mosque, Morića han before we go to last rakija tasting.
