Discover Sarajevo and its tastes during 3-hours walking food tour, dedicated to small groups and private sighting. While exploring and learning about the main cultural and historical sites of the core of Sarajevo, you will enjoy Bosnian food and try more than 14 authentic specialties of traditional cuisine. You will also learn recipes on how to prepare some of them. Experience gastronomic delights as locals do, in places away from the tourist rush: City Market, buregdžinica, aščinica, kafana, and Balkantina Gourmet Shop. You will complete your experience by interacting with artisans of cheese, truffle specialties, cured meat, Bosnian pies, cooked meals, and homemade brandy.

Visiting Gazi Husrev Bey’s Bezistan (covered bazaar). Being under cover and in the Ottoman style of centuries ago you can see why some refer to it as ‘a piece of Istanbul in the heart of Sarajevo’ as its style is similar to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Shops here sell traditional Ottoman style clothing and gifts and you will have to haggle to get yourself a bargain but it is part of the enjoyable experience of the Bazaar and a must see while in Sarajevo.

Stop At: Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton

Visiting Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque, or Bey’s Mosque, as it is known locally, which was built in the center of Baščaršija in 1530. Today, this mosque is rightly seen as the most important architectural monument from the time of Ottoman rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Located in the historic old town section of Sarajevo, the Old Clock Tower is not only one of the largest in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but it is also believed to be the only clock tower in the world that keeps lunar time making it always seem like it is broken.

Walk along Bascarsija, the historical and cultural center of the city and reward yourself with traditional Bosnian dishes and watch how they were prepared in aščinica, authentic traditional restaurant with fresh traditional Bosnian cooked meals.

Stop At: Sebilj Brunnen (Fountain), Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton

Visit Sebilj Fountain and drink its fresh water. A legend says: "Whoever drinks water from any of Sarajevo’s fountains and spouts will come to Sarajevo”. After that sip some homemade brandy, juice, and coffee and enjoy the ambiance of a typical Bosnian cafe. Bid your guide and group farewell but feel free to remain in the bar after the tour concludes.
