I strongly recommend this trip. The journey to Srebrenica is through stunning scenery and the guide we had Ado is actually from that town so the details, anecdotes and history he was able to give us added so much to the whole experience. He achieved this without bitterness and with such good humour and courtesy that our day was a good balance of shocking memory and pleasant company. He came to collect us from our hotel too, which was very helpful as we had only just arrived in the city. The museum and cemetery are two places I will never forget. The genocide is an event that is memorialised with dignity and the hope that such horror will never happen again.
The tour was well organized and our guide, Ado, was just perfect. Being a survivor himself he knew about the sad history of Srebrenica and even told us some personal stories. I higly recommend it.
