About this activity
Itinerary
The FlavorWow™ session is about 2 hours and starts with a bit of the chocolate back story…where do cacao beans come from? What exactly is bloom? Why can’t I stop raiding my kid’s Halloween bag (additional fees for therapy apply)?
Then off to the demo kitchen where you’ll be able to make your own chocolate treats. There will plenty of sweets to go around – you might even learn a thing or two. Treats include custom chocolate bark plus seasonal goodies.
Space is limited, so only small groups are booked. We do touch upon the "haunted history" of our building, but will be age appropriate! While kids are welcome, please note that this session may not be appropriate for very small children who are not used to following instructions, standing for 2 hours or waiting for their chocolate to set (or being told they can't eat all of their chocolate immediately). Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Wear closed toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or bare-feet!), hair pulled back. Baseball caps and head bands acceptable. Hair nets will also be provided. You will be on your feet for most of this session! You will get to eat and take home your chocolate and have a chance to shop in our Factory Store.
