Day 1: Arrive in Savannah, Georgia

Day 2: Savannah

Take in the scenery as we travel along the tree-lined boulevards. Travel with light walking, a carriage ride, and a trolley giving you the best sights of real historical Savannah. See the rich Southern historic sites from the American Revolutionary War. See the stately homes and bastions like Fort Pulaski, where you will find out how the ground forces enclosed the Confederates in what would become a turning point in military history. Tonight, be a part of the Odom family for a dinner of a Lowcountry boil at their Tybee Island house.
Ghost Town tour- In the evening come and hear the stories and see the sites of the spirits that still call Savannah home. See the place that has been on TV shows like Ghosthunters and others Savannah is trendy for the afterlife.

Day 3: Savannah

The first stop will be the corridors of Savannah's first eighteenth-century African Protestant Church. Step back in time with a native specialist who will tell the stories of defenders of the Civil Rights Movement within the South. See the places that once hid slaves and helped brave people journey up north. Then, stretch your legs on the river, visit an old-time city district café, and buy art and antiques on watercourse Street. Sit back and watch the day pass by just like you were in the 18th century.

Day 4: Savannah-Hilton Head

Day 5: Hilton Head

Hilton Head has often seen guests from all over the world. Today, we'll find out how this famous Lowcountry island, once home to French Huguenots and British colonists, sowed the seeds for Southern plantation life as we all know it. Climb to the top of the Harbor Town Lighthouse for views of the resort town and enjoy a delicious waterfront seafood lunch. Meet your local specialist, a historian who will share the story of the previously enslaved African American Gullah community, who have kept their unique culture and Creole language alive for centuries. Tonight, you will have a conventional meal with new friends. Adjacent to St Simons Island is Jekyll Island, once the winter retreat of several of the wealthiest and most influential individuals within the country, now redeveloped as a public resort.

Day 6: Hilton Head

This morning, wander your way north to the sleepy state of South Carolina, the smell of centuries-old shrub, magnolia and roses linger within the air as we stroll around Thomas Middleton Place visit America's oldest gardens and home to four generations of the Thomas Middleton family. Then a brief hop to Charleston for a day of leisure and dinner cruise on the harbor. The Dinner cruise includes live amusement. Hotel for the next three nights is located within the heart of the charming historic district, steps from the local retailers and restaurants.

Day 7: Charleston, SC

Stop At: Charleston Tea Plantation, 6617 Maybank Hwy, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487-7006
Day seven begins with a stroll through historic downtown Charleston with glimpses of superbly preserved eighteenth-century homes. Then see old town church steeples and American Civil War heritage on display from the comfort of your equine carriage. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the Charleston Tea Plantation and gain Cultural Insight into how tea lies at the center of Southern hospitality, while you travel to the main tea plantation in America.
Board Charleston Harbor Dinner Cruise, an upscale dinner cruise that includes live music on Charleston Harbor. Dine from a farm-to-table menu beginning with ancient She-crab soup followed by entrees like shrimp and grits or wood-fire grilled rib-eye. Finish it off with a range of desserts, a bar is offered for your convenience. The dress is casual.

Day 8: Charleston, SC

Stop At: The Charleston Museum, 360 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29403-6297
Today we will stroll the cobblestone lanes and oak-lined boulevards of Charleston-from Rainbow Row's pastel Georgians to the shutters and doors of palatial homes daubed in old town Charleston. Then we will head back to the American Civil War and see where the first shots were fired to start the War at Fort Sullivan. We will visit the museum of Charleston, where the civil war submarine is housed. Moreover, we will visit the old courthouse where they held prisoners from both the revolutionary war and the Civil war.

Day 9: Charleston, SC

Jazz musician Plantation - McClellanville - Charleston County. Your crusade of the Old South comes to an end as you enjoy a Farewell Dinner together.
