About this activity
Begin your 4.5 hours Misty Fjords Expedition from Ketchikan’s oceanfront onboard our six-passenger 30-foot Aluminum chamber boat. What makes the Misty Fjords Expedition stand out from others is that we are a totally customised charter, If you decide you would like to stop and enjoy certain areas of the Misty Fjords for longer periods than others then its all down to you. You’ll have to keep a sharp eye as you will be on the lookout for Bald Eagles, Black and Brown bears, Many different types of Whales and other Marine wildlife, and New Eddystone Rock; an immense volcanic spire rising from the emerald sea. Capture the beauty whilst exploring Rudyerd Bay and learn the natural history of the fjords while gliding quietly near 3,000-foot vertical cliffs and breathtaking waterfalls. Misty Fiords National Monument is a national monument and wilderness area administered by the U.S. Forest Service as part of the Tongass National Forest.
