About this activity

Forggensee is one of the largest lakes in Bavaria and the largest reservoir in Europe. Our tour starts at the railway station Füssen and goes then directly over the Lech, which feeds the Forggensee with water. We cycle through the beautiful Allgäuer nature with its gentle hills along the lakeside, through small villages with majestic views of the mountain panorama and Neuschwanstein Castle. At the Panorama Stadl we will take a break where we can admire the fascinating scenery of the mountains with food and drink. After a short break we continue to the second part of the tour; here we pass the impressive dam that is responsible for the discharge of the lake. Along the western shore through the beautiful prairie, our last destination will be the Festspielhaus in Füssen, where you can enjoy a refreshment in the beer garden directly at the lake.
