You have to love what you do otherwise it wouldn't be joyful for you and this goes double for the hospitality business. My two tour guides - peyton (olympic national park) and clay (mt rainer) absolutely love what they do and it shows. Kudos for evergreen escapes for finding such talented people. Different food options were exquisite and sourced locally - trail snacks, cookies, coffee and lunch- salad, pasta and chicken w/ local red wine was fulfilling and esp important on the second day after the hike. Day one with peyton was fun - he has a collection of dad jokes, corny jokes and fun family friendly cringe worthy jokes, car games which made the car ride so fun. The tour itself was gorgeous, weather was cooperative - it only rained long enough for us to scramble to put on our rain jackets and it stopped. The hike was mild, lunch delicious, waterfall breathtaking, forest hike tranquil. The group was amazing as well. All in all well worth the time and money though we could have spent longer on the hike - it doesn't take away anything. Day 2 with Clay was comparatively strenuous as the group as a whole decided we wanted a longer and higher hike experience which ended up being a 2.5 hour, 5.5 mile hike with 1250 ft elevation. We had fun deciphering what mushrooms, birds and animals we saw and on the ride back - everyone got a quick shut eye

Group of 9 went to Hurricane Ridge, a walk through the temperate rain forest, served us snack and a great lunch including wine. The tour guide Kris did an incredible job of narrating the tour and teaching us lots. She also was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Great trip all round. I highly recommend it.

This overly priced tour had no food prep for vegan/vegetarian despite making a request for one. Also tour plan was more suitable for old age people. It was leisurely and didn't allow much to explore the national park on foot. I do not recommend spending $$ on tours like this if you have company n can drive to the park yourself.

This was the best tour I have been. Tour was well planned. Eric Schooh was our tour guide and very best guide I met. He kept the trip very much engaged and very good time keeper. Got to know more about forest vegetation. Most memorable experience.

The tour was a great intro to the NP even though it rained. We still got to get a good hike in and get some great scenery. Justin, our tour guide, was quite the treasure chest of knowledge. He could talk about anything we had questions about on the history and ecology of the NP and Washington state. Great conversationalist, easygoing and adaptable to weather changes and takes into account what the group was interested in. Highly recommended to have him as your tour guide before he leaves.

In spite of the smoke haze, which limited our view, our guide, Sean, made the day fun and exciting with his dramatic storytelling, in-depth knowledge of geological history of the area, as well as his overall personal charm and interpersonal skills.
