With a great guide, a roomy, comfortable vehicle and many sites to explore around Seattle, you're on your way to a great day! After your guide picks your group up from either the cruise terminals, any of Seattle’s hotels, or Sea-Tac Airport, we’ll start with perhaps Seattle's most famous of all landmarks, The Pike Place Market. Your guide will point out the main attractions and steer you toward your specific interests. You'll have 30 minutes to browse the many stalls for delightful delicacies, watch the fishmongers toss their slippery merchandise, visit the original Starbucks or find the perfect read for the plane ride home at one of the used bookstores.

Stop At: Space Needle, 400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109-4607

Well, maybe our next stop is Seattle's most famous landmark, the Space Needle. If time permits, head to the Observation Deck for outstanding views of the city or visit one of the other interesting attractions located in the Seattle Center, such as the Museum of Pop Culture, the Seattle Children's Museum, the Chihuly Glass Museum, or the Pacific Science Center. You'll have about 45 minutes to explore the venue of your choice.

Next, we’ll visit Queen Anne Hill, known for its 19th-century homes along with an amazing panoramic view of the city and Elliot Bay below. In case you didn’t make it up to the Observation Deck at the Space Needle, the view from up here is the next best thing! While you can't see forever on a clear day, you will get a great view of snow-capped Mt. Rainier, a sight cherished by Seattle's residents.

Stop At: Gas Works Park, 3300 Meridian Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103-9150

We move on to a very cool, very unique place, Gas Works Park, located on the North Shore of Lake Union. The city of Seattle turned the remnants of the sole remaining coal gasification plant in the United States, what many would have considered junk, into a one-of-a-kind park. It's rusty pipes, storage tanks, gears and ladders have been re-envisioned into a giant work of art. It's even on the National Register of Historic Places. Take it all in while enjoying boats sailing on the lake and watching seaplanes taking off and landing. From this vantage point, you can glimpse Seattle's houseboat communities. Fans of the rom-com Sleepless In Seattle will recognize this as the place where Tom Hanks' character and his son lived (at least until they headed to NYC to meet Meg Ryan at the top of the Empire State Building).
