Guided ATV Tour of Western Sedona

The magnificent red rocks surrounding Sedona have been filming sites for over 40 movies over the last 50 years. Towering sandstone monoliths, dense pockets of pine forest and picturesque river canyons comprise a rich tapestry of scenic desert wonder. Within moments of stepping out into the dry air of this high-elevation landscape, you will find yourself surrounded by a sense a place, the unique feeling of being in a place wholly unlike any other.

Your 3 hour exploration of this outdoor playground begins with a safety orientation at a private facility near the small town of Sedona. After meeting your guide and the rest of your group, you will be outfitted with helmets, goggles and gloves and load a 13-passenger van for a short ride to the trailhead 8 miles west of Sedona. Your guide and lead driver, who has thousands of hours of experience driving the specialized off-road vehicle you will ride, will lead you up the hills and past the stream to lookouts, vistas and quiet locations away from the crowds. Everywhere you look, the iron-rich dust will paint your surroundings scarlet - from the massive rock formations above you to the well beaten path below. Your exploration will last three hours from the moment you start on the trail and will include water and snacks to keep you comfortable.

When you are finished, you will return to the van and drive back to town for a centrally located drop off back in Sedona.
