Teacup Hike in Sedona's High Desert

About this activity
The Teacup Trail is an easy to moderate trail which travels along the western foot Sugarloaf Butte, and then turns east and skirts the base of the spectacular Coffee Pot Red Rock range, a stunning, 800-foot tall formation towering over West Sedona. Parts of the Western Angel and the Badman starring John Wayne were filmed in this area.

But it's not just amazing views you will see - you will be walking among impressive cactus plants, giant boulders and the famous agave plants that tequila is made from. You will be crossing open plateaus with spectacular views of Sedona's red rock cliffs and traversing impressive dry washes of slick red rock that have been carved into the landscape over millions of years.

This hike is just under three miles long and a wonderful way to get up close and personal with the red rocks. During the hike learn about flora, fauna, geology, archaeology and folklore of the area from your professional hiking guides.
