Aphrodisias-Pamukkale-Hierapolis Tour in One Day Tour
You will receive a private guided sightseeing tour with air-conditioned private transport. Your guide will meet you at the arrival’s gate of Kusadasi port-Hotel-Airport with a sign your name is written on, then be driven to the sites.
Firstly we drive to one of the magnificient ancient cities of Turkey that is Aphrodisias. Aphrodisias is a small ancient Greek city in the historic Caria cultural region of western Anatolia. Aphrodisias was named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, who had here her unique cult image, the Aphrodite of Aphrodisias.
Lunch Time
The ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as Pamukkale famous white travertines (calcium pools) have been used as a spa since the 2nd century BCE, with people travelling great distances to soothe their ailments or retire here.
The impressive Necropolis, the largest graveyard in the ancient world, with over 1200 tombs attests to the importance of Hierapolis in ancient times. Your Pamukkale day tour begins with a visit to the red springs in the nearby village of Karahayit.
We finish the tour with a visit to the Travertines (white calcium pools) where you will have time to take pictures and wade in the water. After leaving the site, you will be dropped back to your Port-Hotel-Airport.
