Our guide will pick you at the hotel and drive to the old town part of Semarang Explore the neighborhood on foot to get a closer look- Praoe Lajar (Sailing Boat) Cigarette Factory, produces cheap cigarettes which are popular only to those living in the coast of Central Java, in the factory built around 1900's- The MARBA building (built in the 19th century) continues to stand strong at the corner of the old town. MARBA was extracted from the name Marta Badjunet, a rich merchant from Yemen who ran an expedition business during that period.- A street market sells a few modestly priced antiques and memorabilia- Gereja Blenduk, The unusual copper-domed Blenduk is one of Indonesia’s most historic churches, built in 1753 and still welcoming worshippers for regular Sunday services.- Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery, housed in the former "De Indische Llyod" building of 1937. The main exhibition space covers two floors with a square central atrium. The stark white walls showcase the artworks while a small courtyard garden displays sculptural works.

Drive to the next stop points:- Lawang Sewu (1,000 Doors), it was built at the beginning of the 20th century as an administrative building for the Dutch East Indies Railway Company (Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij).

Sam Poo Kong Temple is Semarang’s largest Chinese temple complex encompassing a handful of large colourful tiered pagodas facing an open courtyard harbouring a towering statue of Chinese Ming Dynasty Muslim Admiral, Cheng Ho (Zeng He) who famously led several expeditions to Southeast Asia in the early 15th century, stopping by Semarang on his travels.
