When I booked this trip I was convinced that I would come and see the 2 blue houses where the guards from South and North Korea stare at each other. But since half a year no trip to those houses :-( Anyway, an interesting day but a bit stressing since all stops were timed to the minute. Our guide did an excellent job and the lunch was very tasteful.

We were unable to visit any of the expected attractions, as the 3rd infiltration tunnel, station and everything we paid for, was closed due to the snow. Apparently we are unable to visit these attractions without a tour group, and this is why we chose to go with a tour group. So, we were at a visitor's centre for a while, and also had lunch there (nothing special) - this we could have done without paying for a tour!. It was not a full day tour, and we did not receive a refund for the access tickets that were not purchased. While I do realise that the tour company does not have control over access to the inflltration tunnel, I do feel that they should have a plan B in the event that a tour is cancelled, as $60 per person is vastly expensive for the experience we had. Our tour guide indicated that the tour company would contact us on the next day or the Monday, but this never happened...

The tour was average. The guide from Hana Tours barely explained anything about DMZ. She seemed that she didn't want to talk and she was desinterested when we asked her questions. We saw others tours where the guide was going to visit the places (like Imsang park)with customers. She just left us in the places alone. In the mini van was cold. The lunch was good .For these reasons we will never book a tour with Viator again. Besides the price was more expensive than other tours.

The tour was okay, but it definitely could have been better. For starters, it is actually only a half-day tour - although advertised as a full-day. We discussed this with our guide, but she wasn't responsible for the marketing, so she couldn't do anything about it. Also, every stop we made was very short - 10 to 15 minutes, which wasn't enough time to see anything especially at the memorial - it was only enough time to run to the bathroom.

The tour was in a private car, with myself, my husband, and four travellers from the Philippines. The tour guide/ driver drove very safely, no worries getting to or from the DMZ. Once at the DMZ we got on a tour bus. There were other tour groups on the bus and we got information from another tour guide, it would have been too much to have two guides talking at once and she seemed more experienced than our guide. The walk down to the third tunnel was very steep, so very important to wear good walking shoes! The day was quite foggy/ hazy so couldn't see much from the observation area. Lunch at a local restaurant was very good local food. Don't know if the tour was very informative, but it was a very interesting part of the world to see.

We had a great time on this tour! We enjoyed visiting Dorasan Observatory and the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. Lunch was delicious! The only thing I didn't like was that they took us to the Duty Free Mall. We had already done a ton of shopping and prices are cheaper elsewhere.

This tour was informative and interesting. Our guide gave us very good history and facts. We didn't realize it until we arrived to view the introduction video that we visited on the 66th anniversary of the start of the Korean War which increased the significance of the tour for us.

Loved our guide, but she could not answer a number of questions when asked. Seemed distracted because they were running late.
