Stop At: Nami Island, 1, Namiseom-gil, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon, Gangwon-do 24464 South Korea
The day will start with pick up from your hotel between 7:00am and 8:00am via a 9-passenger vehicle. From there, we will make the approximately 1.5 hour drive to Nami Island (entrance fee via ferry included).
After Nami Isand, head over to Chuncheon City to try the city's world famous Dakgalbi dish (spicy stir fry chicken). Non spicy and other meal options are available for all types of dietary restrictions as well.
Nami Island is famous for being a shooting site of the hit Korean drama "Winter Sonata." It is also famous for the scenic tree lined roads that offer spectacular views of autumn foliage, but the scenery is beautiful year round. There are also fun activities available such as zipwire, bike riding, electronic car tour, and many more. These activities are optional and not covered by the standard entrance fee.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: The Garden of Morning Calm, 432 Sumokwon-ro, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do 12448 South Korea
From there, head to the nearby Garden of Morning Calm. Garden of Morning Calm is the oldest private garden in Korea. It is an artistic space with a beautiful balance between the Korean concept of natural curves with asymmetry, and plants with synthetic materials. Scenic walkways, beautifully manicured grass, and flower beds connect the garden’s 20 different themed sections.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Petite France, 1063, Hoban-ro, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do 12456 South Korea
The last site of the day is Petit France. Nestled in the hills, you would think that you have arrived at a real French village in the Alps. The village is inspired by the famous French novel “Le Petit Prince.” The village actually contains a memorial hall to Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the author of “Le Petit France.” Enjoy a mix of food, shops, performances, and French culture.
Finally, the tour will end with drop off at your hotel.

This is a great way to spend a weekend in Seoul! Visited three iconic places in one tour. Kris picked us up early, he even had welcome chocolates for us! There were only 4 of us, in a very clean, well air conditioned car. Since we were early, we were always front and center in all the places we went to. It pays to be early and in a private tour as this one! The places were very beautiful - I specifically loved the Nami Island best because it's such a lovely place one can have a different experience depending what your route is. Great day, exercise, and tour guide. Thanks for the experience!
