This was a new tour on Viator. It was good that we took it. We had a personal guide for 4 hours. It was our first day in Seoul, on our first trip to Seoul and we were apprehensive about the usage of trains and buses, which markets to go to, about the local food etc. etc. The personal guide helped us on all these points. Taylor Son Korean name JiSung, our buddy, was par excellence. She had very good command over English and full knowledge about the Korean history. She was very quick on her phone as all youngsters are these days any question we had and if she did not have an instant answer, she would Google immediately and have the answer for us. An advantage of this tour is that we choose what all places we want to see and where to go. She was at our Hotel lobby dot on time. We visited Changdeokgung Palace alongwith her. A smaller Palace and a quite one not too crowded. The Secret Gardens of this Palace is the main attraction and are not to be missed. The visit to these Gardens is a conducted tour with the Palace guide. After this visit, we topped up money on our T Money card, rode on the local bus and thereafter by sub way train to Myeongdong market and Namdaemun market. We were explained the usage of the T Money card on the bus, train and cab and the how to read the various signs at the subway train stations. I was also guided on how to use the Naver Maps optimally which is a must App to have when visiting Seoul. A good choice that we made by taking this tour.
