Wine & Food Tour of Alentejo from Lisbon

We begin by picking you up in Lisbon at your desired Hotel/Address. At 10am we are arriving at the impressive "Herdade da Calada" or "Herdade da Cartuxa" where you will learn how the wine is made and everything about the process. You will get the chance to try different wines produced in the area and learn their history. The tour around the wine-house will take approximately 60 minutes.

Later we will take you on a unique experience to connect with nature. A stroll through the estate to show you different plantations and fields that are common in this area of Portugal. The farmstead has a strong agricultural component for those who enjoy the process. Every crop and/or tree plantation will be explained in detail.

Whether or not you chose the "Lunch included" option, we will take you to lunch in one of the traditional restaurants in nearby Évora. After lunch the plan is to take a stroll through historical Évora and show you its walls and castle. This is the perfect complement to a full day through Portuguese History, Culture and Agriculture!
