About this activity
You will make this hiking route leaving Seville around 8.30 am. After 2 hours in the minivan, you will arrive at the beginning of Caminito del Rey (the Camino del Rey) near the town of Ardales.
You can have breakfast before starting this 7 km hike. Nowadays, it is an easy walk suitable for all. You will pass through 'Los Gaitanes Gorge', also known as 'El Chorro'. It is narrow, rarely reaches more than ten meters wide, and has vertical walls that reach up to 300 meters.
You will pass through wonderful rock formations, spectacular views of the Guadalhorce River and find the courage to cross the Suspension Bridge.
After 2-3 hours of walking, you willfinish near the town called 'El Chorro' where you will take the bus to the entrance of the road. At the entrance you can have lunch near the lake in a restaurant and return to Seville to arrive around 7 pm.

Disappointingly, we did not get to do this trip due to the local operator stating that they could not get tickets on the day. We were told this some days after we had already received our confirmation from Viator, travel and accommodation plans were set only to find we weren't actually going.
