Even though it is not Pompei, Italica is a fascinating place to visit. The history of the town was well described by Estella our tour guide. The ruins, mosaics and especially the amphitheater were in sufficient condition to visualize the town at its glory days. The monestery we visited after the town wss also interesting and with many photo worthy sections. If you have time it is definitely worgh a visit

This trip is a must if you like history, Italica was remarkably well preserved considering it doesn’t have UNESCO status. Whilst we were there we saw archaeologists digging and cleaning mosaics, so I would assume the site will become larger over time. Our guide Reyes was an archaeology student and very knowledgeable, adding a touch of humour to bring to life the Roman site. The trip to the monastery and bodegas was a lovely additional bonus, again we weren’t expecting the detailed information we were furnished. Lovely well organised trip, the best day out from Seville we had, it exceeded our expectations and would thoroughly recommend. Oh and yes italica is not a game of thrones theme park it’s a important historical site integral to the Roman Spanish history, you cannot help by impressed by the dragon pit... sorry I mean the amphitheater!

Excellent trip. Efficient, professional and knowledgeable guides. Italica is one of the better Roman ruins I have visited and a great chance to see a little of Spain outside of Seville. The monestary is also very interesting with a lot of history and the guide was very knowledgeable and informative. I would certainly recommend this tour if you want to see something other than the sites of Seville.

Excellent guide. Nicely paced tour and the added bonus of the trip to the monastery which was also very interesting. Highly recommended, something that would be difficult to do on your own from Seville on public transport.

If you are a big fan of Roman history it's better to visit Italica in Seville with an organised tour or drive yourself there. Public transport is the pits, because you could wait up to 2 hours to get back to Seville by bus. Sergio was our driver and guide. He's a very informative guy.

Very interesting with a good explanation from our guide Javier. We are used to seeing a lot of Roman places where I live in Italy but it was nice to see the largest Roman ruins in Spain. The old monastery we went to was amazing as well. It was also off season so we had the guide all to ourselves which was wonderful to be able to ask him questions.. There are a lot of things to see and do in Seville but if you have some extra time, this is worth it! Hope we can do another tour with Javier when we return to Seville.

A great experience thanks to a very knowledgeable guide. The place is a gem and we have it practically to ourselves for most of the tour. Mosaics and the amphitheater were highlights for me. Thank you, Patricia.
