About this activity
Built in the XVII century, the Hospital de la Caridad is the main place of the Saint Charity brotherhood. It’s a religious and charitable foundation born in the end of the Middle Age. It still works there for destitute people at the end of their life.
The hospital is very famous thanks to its church. It constitute a real masterpiece of the Baroque architecture in Sevilla because it houses a lot of art works. In light of its attractive quality and its historical value, the church of the hospital was listed historical monument by the Spanish culture ministry in 1992.

Then, you will enjoy a commented cruise on the legendary Guadalquivir River where you will explore some of its treasures: the Golden Tower, the Bullring, the Triana bridge, The pavilions of Exposition 1992 and the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, the Alamillo et Barqueta bridges, parts of Macarena and Triana, the Saint Telmo Palace, the Giralda tower, the Opera, etc.
