HOSPITAL DE LA CARIDAD GUIDED TOUR

Come to discover the Hospital de la Caridad of Sevilla, a hospital institution which became a real museum of Baroque art.

Built in the XVII century, the Hospital de la Caridad is the main place of the Saint Charity brotherhood. It’s a religious and charitable foundation born in the end of the Middle Age. It still works there for destitute people at the end of their life.

The hospital is very famous thanks to its church. It constitute a real masterpiece of the Baroque architecture in Sevilla because it houses a lot of art works. In light of its attractive quality and its historical value, the church of the hospital was listed historical monument by the Spanish culture ministry in 1992.
