About this activity
You will be picked up in Seville and taken to discover the most important product in the Mediterranean way of life, the olive oil, at a small factory just 20 minutes away.
Stroll through the sun-speckled orchards of olive trees as the owner explains the history of the area, which has produced olive oil since Roman times, and their traditional method of harvesting olives by hand. Then step inside the factory to how the olives are processed into "liquid gold." Though this factory produces only a few liters of olive oil each year, it is considered to be some of the best in the world.
Then sample several different varieties of oil ranging from sweet to bitter to spicy. Perhaps buy some olive oil to take home before climbing back into the minibus for the return journey to Seville. You will arrive back at your hotel at approximately 1pm.

One of the best tours we have ever been on. The small group was the three of us. We went to the Hacienda Guzman. It was olive harvesting season so we saw the product in the making. Our guide was from the estate and was outstanding. She explained everything from the various types of trees to the current production to the history to the estate itself. This was worth twice the cost and I would do it again in a minute. Great.
