About this activity
Book your chosen tour option and then meet your guide in the Plaza Virgen de los Reyes in central Seville. Admire the Archbishop’s Palace in the square and start your 2-hour Game of Thrones tour, a unique experience that’s available nowhere else.

As you walk, hear why Seville was chosen to star in the smash-hit HBO TV drama. Get a background on the series and learn how it was adapted from George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels to tell stories of warring noble dynasties in mythical Westeros.

See the mighty Gothic edifice that is Seville Cathedral, one of the world’s largest cathedrals, and admire the Giralda, its bell tower. Then, continue to the UNESCO-listed Alcázar of Seville, the medieval palace that doubles as the Water Gardens of Dorne, the residence of Dorne's rulers, House Martell, in the series' fifth season.

Built in the 10th century and later expanded by Spain’s Moorish rulers, the sumptuous palace boasts exquisite grounds of pools and fountains that proved the perfect doppelgänger for the Water Gardens. Hear how the site was turned into the home of the late Prince Oberyn Martell, who once ruled Dorne, the southernmost of the fictional Seven Kingdoms.

Head inside with your guide and see stunning rooms, many coated in decorative Mudéjar tiles, that served as the Water Gardens' interiors. Trace the footsteps of Jaime Lannister and hear entertaining insider gossip about the filming in 2014. Then, explore the grounds of the Water Gardens. Admire the fountains and paths roamed by Doran Martell, and discover how and why some pools were colored bright blue for filming. After two hours, your tour ends near the start point.

Tour Including Osuna and Lunch: (10 hours)If you want see more Game of Thrones locations, upgrade to add a visit to Osuna! After your Alcázar of Seville tour, board a car or minivan and drive to the hilltop town of Osuna that starred in the fifth season.

On arrival, enjoy a walking tour to see locations such as the old bullring that served as Danzak’s Pit and where many gory fights were filmed. Plus, see other highlights such as Osuna’s Colegiata Church, the university and mountain quarries.

On the way, visit a local restaurant for a Game of Thrones–themed tapas lunch. Chow down on delicious tapas named after characters such as Joffrey and Lannister, and wash down the treats with drinks (own expense). Your tour then ends back at the start point in Seville.

Our guide was obviously very knowledgable, but unfortunately his accent was so pronounced it was quite difficult to understand his english,a shame because he was so enthusiastic.

We were very excited about the tour based on the description. First, our tour guide was unintelligible - we could not understand most of what he said. Second, his presentation was boring at best. Third, the tour has very little to do with the Game of Thrones. Except for showing us 3 photos on his iPad and a UTube video Game of Thrones in Seville, there was really no value to this tour. We feel misled and cheated. Waste of money. Better to pay the entrance and Audio Guide. We read previous reviews and felt assured that Viator had address the issues with their Vendor about the poor quality of the presentation. DON'T waste money on this tour.

Our guide was the sweetest thing ever. His english was a little hard to understand, but he was such an excited and enthusiastic tour guide. Although I thought this tour would have more insider information i.e. Jamie Lannister stood here, the Sand Snakes like to visit this tapas bar, etc, it was interesting how our guide compared the history of Dorne to the history of the Alcazar instead. I would have loved some pictures printed from the season in Dorne so we could see exactly where they filmed so I could clearly recreate them for my own person Game of Thrones memories. Overall, the place was beautiful, and it was nice getting there early before the crowd came in.

Hi Unfortunately I found this tour extremely disappointing. The tour had very little if anything to do with Game of Thrones and our guide despite his best attempts was extremely hard to understand. The tour had a total of eight people who all seemed to have troubles understanding our guide. From the get go it seemed very unprofessional with the guide lining up to pay for our tickets rather than having it ready before hand unlike many other tours we'd been on. The tour was mainly about the history of Seville and history of the Alcazar itself although this was also very hard to understand. Finally, the water fountains which looked to be one of the more interesting parts of the tour was skipped completely. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I would rather recommend just going to the Alcazar for a self guided tour which is what I ended up doing at the end of this guided tour. I hope this review helps anyone looking to do the same tour. Regards
