About this activity
Itinerary

Mush a dog team 16 miles down the Resurrection River Valley to the Exit Glacier cabin and back. The trail is wide and easy to maneuver, so anyone can learn. We’ll stop at the glacier and enjoy a provided trail lunch and hot chocolate.

It is usually between 20F to 35F with a light breeze, and we'll be outside for roughly 4 hours. We recommend wearing a fleece or similar insulation layer under Gore-Tex or similar outer layer. Ski clothing is perfect. Two or more pairs of gloves, a warm winter hat, boots, hand and feet warmers are a must. Goggles or glasses, and a neck-gator or scarf are optional, but a good idea if you have them. We can provide some clothing if you’re missing something, please let us know when you reserve. Cameras and video cameras are welcome, be sure to bring spare batteries.

Stop At:

• Exit Glacier Road, Kenai Fjords National Park, AK 99664
