About this activity
Arrive by a thrilling jet boat ride up a glacial river, and return home flying with ridiculously scenic views aboard a helicopter. Both modes of transportation is a true Alaskan adventure and proves that the journey is just as amazing as the destination, which will leave you awestruck, as the lagoon's icebergs are ever changing. The massive ice is released from the toe of the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park where they float inside a fresh water lagoon separated from the ocean by a picturesque beach.
Having all day to explore the lagoon will leave you with lasting memories of how large and rugged Bear Glacier Lagoon is. This is a must do trip for avid wilderness seekers, kayakers, paddleboarders, photographers and anyone else wanting to have their mind blown in the Alaskan back-country. The features in the lagoon change daily and your guide will choose the best route to navigate through the maze of ice. Wildlife also varies day to day with good chances to view harbor seals and black bears.
You don't need experience for this tour. Most of the people who join the tours are first time paddlers or have limited skills.
