Departing from Marathon Helicopters at the Seward Airport, your Glacier Landing Tour will be a 30 minute experience composed of 15 minutes of scenic flight time and 15 minutes landed on and exploring a real, Alaskan glacier!
Your adventure begins by looking for otters, seals and sea-lions as you cross over Resurrection Bay, following the fast-flowing, glacier fed 4th of July Creek up into the Chugach Mountains and then winding your way around to one of the area's 4 hanging glaciers. Upon reaching your destination, the pilot will land the helicopter and allow you to get out, take photos and explore the glacier for approximately 15 minutes.
Glacier landings occur at either the toe of the glacier where the ice meets the ground or higher up on the snow covered section-each offers its own unique perspective but both provide spectacular views and experiences.
Location of the landing will be determined based on customer preference and current conditions at the time of the flight.
Everyone is guaranteed a window seat, so be on the lookout for mountain goats, moose and bear as you take in the sights! Headsets are included, so your pilot can provide commentary, answer questions and tell you more about this incredible location.

I had booked this tour for my dad and mom , they both loved it. My dad who is not easily impressed got back and said , this tour made his trip :) so i can only imagine how much fun he had on the tour. Its very near the Seaward Windsong Lodge so i would definitely recommend taking this tour if you are staying there.
